Overview

Home to a variety of wildlife, the Masai Mara is the one reserve where you can see all the “Big Five” mammals in a single morning. The Masai Mara stretches out over a flat grassy plain and is most famous for its annual migration of millions of wildebeest.

Photographic opportunities are endless. Many species of wildlife are comfortable with the game viewing vehicles and come up close for the perfect picture.

Tour Plan

Day 01 Starting Nairobi Hotel/Airport to Masai Mara National Reserve

We will pick you up from your hotel/Airport and drive southwards then  drive along the floor of the Great Rift Valley with stop over at the viewpoint arriving in time for lunch.

Later, we proceed for an evening game drive in the Mara, which is well known for its rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is also renowned for its great herds of plain games including black-manned lions, leopard, and cheetahs. It is also home to numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya.

Day 02 Relax Full day Masai Mara National Reserve with game drives

After breakfast with a picnic lunch, you spend full day game viewing with a visit to the Mara River. The river has a great concentration of animals and birds throughout the year.

You will have your picnic lunch as you watch crocodiles, hippos and other animals living in the water.

On this day you also have the option of going to visit one of the Masai villages and experience their lifestyle, customs and traditions.

All meals and overnight at the camp or lodge of your choice.

Day 03 Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

We go for an early game drive and return for a late breakfast.

We then departed to Nakuru National Park with picnic lunch on the way, arriving in the evening.

Day 04 End Tour Lake Nakuru National Park to Nairobi Hotel/Airport

After early breakfast, we spent the morning in Nakuru Park where you can see a lot of flamingos among the about 350 species of birds recorded here. This is also home to the black and white rhinoceroses.

The park was established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes, and a variety of plains antelope. Later in the day, we departed to Nairobi with a picnic lunch on the way.

End of tour after we drop you off at your Nairobi hotel.
